The regional Ministerial level Conference: Public Service delivery across the Western Balkans was held in Tirana, Albania on Thursday 18 May 2017.
The Albanian Prime Minister Mr Edi Rama and four Ministers from the Western Balkans Countries attended the Conference which was opened by Ms Milena Harito the State Minister for Innovation and Public Administration, followed by Ms Ratka Sekulovic Director of ReSPA, the regional School for Public Administration.
Ministers Marta Arsovska Tomasovska, Minister of Information Society and Administration Macedonia, Ms Ana Brnabic Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-government, Republic of Serbia; Ms Suzana Pribiliovic, Minister of Public Administration Montenegro presented current status of service delivery reform in their countries.
Particular emphasis was put on Albanian Model being currently implemented, setting a new set of standards on public service delivery, increases transparency, increased satisfactory on service delivery, less waiting time and less corruptive practices.
Examples from EU best practices in the area of public service delivery system were also presented
More than 40 speakers from 9 countries of Western Balkans attended the conference, organized by ReSPA and the Albanian State Minister for Innovation and Public Administration.
