ADISA and the IPSD Project meeting with representatives of Roma and Egyptian communities

The Agency for the Delivery of integrated Services in Albania (ADISA) in cooperation with the EU-funded project "Support to Improve Citizen – Centric Public Service Delivery" (IPSD) held a meeting with the Roma and Egyptian community to familiarize them with ADISA's policies and quality of service approaching marginalized groups. One of the main issues discussed at the meeting, held at ADISA's headquarters, was improving access to information and fighting discrimination. ADISA Innovation Lab

After two weeks of work to improve access and ease to information and services from people with disabilities at ADISA integrated centers, successfully drafted the "Barrier-free Services" project based on the international methodology "BOOTCAMP BOOTLEG" Stanford University. This project was led by Canadian consultant Meredith Brown with a broad background in public services, with fruitful collaboration with the staff of ADISA Lab and representatives from the "Disability Rights Foundation".

The opening of ADISA Fier The third Service Center ADISA will be soon opened in the city of Fier, where the citizens will be provided with the services of central and local governemental institutions as follows: 1. SII – Social Insurance Institute; 2. CHIF – Compulsory Health Insurance Fund; 3. GDT - General Directorate of Tax; 4. IPRO – Immovable Properties Registration Office; 5. In light of the Innovation week organised during the period May 13th - 22 May, at the premises of IPRO was organised the event “Technology is Employment”. Such event aimed the presentation of the reform on public services and  the Citizen Charter, to  focus groups aged from 13 to 17. Furthermore, to the participants have been presented the improvements made to the front offices administered by ADISA(by means of an animated video), including the manner of delivery of public services and citizen’s rights concerning this process.
